    Hey guys
Since I got myself a used 8760W and some time and cash to mod it, I wanted to start with GPU upgrade. I can get hold of a pretty cheap Aetina 970M (m3n970m-mn) and got curious, if there is any chance of running it in 8760W.
I've only seen confirmed upgrades from 8770W (and smaller 8560 which has mxm-a unfortunately) but I'd like to run it without swapping mobo and cpu.
Any idea whether it should work or not? Seller assumes it works only for Clevo P375SM P170EM etc.

Should work if you have a MXM B slot

Seller insists it only works with Clevo motherboards... Can that be even possible?

Likely, but I wouldn't know. I wouldn't buy it unless you're sure it works or can sell it/get a refund

I've decided to order it anyway. I'll check it in my 8760W and if it fails, in some other barebone laptop as I've got a connection at local custom notebook-producing company

If it fails, I'll buy it off you for the right price

Well. The 8760W is gone now, sold it with profit so good, I couldn't refuse. I couldn't really test it in time with Aetina's 970M.
However I installed it into Clevo P170SM-A and it works flawless, except for quite high GPU temperatures even though it has Hydronaut pasted on it - might be the ghetto screws I used to plant the heatsink in it's place.
