With this tool and Windows 7 Professional x64, can I move stuff from my 500 GB HDD to my 256 GB SSD even though the target drive is smaller, given that I have less than 256 GB on my original drive?

And also, because the SSD will come with Home Premium, I will need to install Professional. Can I just pop in the Pro disc and initiate the Restore from there, without even installing Pro? Or do I need to install 7 Pro first (reusing my CD key) and then do the Restore?

    Thanks!
