    Hi guys,

    Quick question, what's the highest HDD score for windows experience index you've seen on a laptop drive? And what make model is it? Thanks.

    i would imagine you could get a 5.9 with 2 7200 rpm high density drives in a raid 0. so probably any laptop that supports 2 hard drives (dells vostro 1700 or 1720 for example). Other manufacturers make them too. I think even one has a 3 drive system.

    Hitachi,some guys have a test of samsume and hitchi also WD,not content seageat because not published at that time.The best one is hitachi,less tempurature and low battery requir,the worst problem is the noise of hitachi.

    I had two 7K100's in my laptop and they score a 5.9 in raid 0. with only one drive in the system I still got a 5.8.
    Now with dual 7K200's I get 5.9, but I switched back to Xp, as its a far superior operating system.

    What about single drive? So the Hitachi one is the best?
