I have a vostro 1500 with windows vista. I have a TS-L632D CD drive. I tried to update the firmware on this drive and i think i donwlaoded and installed the wrong firmware. And then to make it even worse I accidently deletead the firmware file I used to upgrade my drive. Here is a link to the firmware I download if it helps: http://support.dell.com/support/dow...1&impid=-1&formatcnt=1&libid=32&fileid=193445 Now that I'm reading back over the description of this firmware it says that it is for XP not Vista. My drive won't recognize any disks I put into it and when i go to control pannel device manager and click on this drive it says could not load drive software and this drive has a yellow exclamation point on it. Also when I click on my computer the drive dosen't show up. I have the cd that dell gave me with the installed drivers but I can't use it becasue the driver i need is the cd driver. Please help i don't know what to do and this is a brand new computer!
