I was looking into getting a processor listed on Ebay until I messaged the seller, of who is selling the process, and asked him about wire transferring. He said I could save ~$28 if I buy the processor through wire transfer over paypal. Is this a good idea?
The seller is extremeprocessor, not that I'm exactly criticizing his reputation.. I see he has sold many great processors to people only through paypal. None of his feedback is from wire transfers.. plus I don't know how to do this. I don't have a lot of money and really wanted to go with the processor I found.. It isn't any cheaper any where else.. so basically I'm wondering what peoples' experience with wire transferring off to the side of Ebay is like. Or more specifically through extremeprocessor--if anyone has wire transferred with him.
Sorry for any accusations/incorrect information. I don't even know what wire transferring is nor what I'm getting myself into I suppose.

He looks like he has a good rep... but I wouldn't do it. $28 isn't that much when you're buying a $100 to $200 processor. Furthermore, you're going to lose any sort of Paypal protection you had otherwise. And this last one is more of a technicality, but I do believe that it's now against eBay's ToS to pay with or accept a wire transfer? Not sure about that last one; someone'll have to deny or confirm.
EDIT: Here we go:

Wire transfers only allowed in Motors and Business/Industrial.
