    Wireless Card - Broadcom 4321AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n Wi-Fi Adapter.

Hey, thank you to everyone who gave me advice on my recent upgrade to my laptop. I have increased my RAM to 4gb and my hard drive to a 320gb 7200RPM. Everything is running much better now =)

One last thing I would like to do to my laptop is to change out the wireless card. It has a Wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g/n card in it and it has many issues. Constantly disconnecting me every 10 minutes when no one else in my house ever has issues. I also read that my laptop has had a recall on the wireless cards because they haven't been functioning properly. So I would like to know what would be the best wireless card for me to put into the laptop? Any suggestions would be nice =)

Also with the wireless cards do I have to worry about them being a different size and not fitting in my laptop (fairly sure I do). If so it would be a great help for someone to find me the model of which card I should use.

Thank you everyone for all your help

Also if it helps, here is step by step on how to remove the wireless card

Mini PCI-E, thank you. Does anyone have a suggested card? Or a suggested card brand which is reliable?

In the two laptops I've owned, I've had Intel wireless cards and they've always worked fine.

I've also heard that Atheros makes good wireless cards but have no idea what model to recommend.

The 5100 is weak sauce comparedto the 5300. Users have reported low speeds with the card. The 4965AGN is still a pretty good buy. And should be cheaper than the previous two.

The 5100 and 5300 are identical except for the extra antenna of the 5300. Buy a 5100 if you don't feel like adding another antenna.
