Well, I just purchased a wireless PCI card, after my integrated WiFi went out. (No big deal... it was unstable anyways) I got it home, and it seems it won't work. I plug it into the PCI slot on the side, and it makes the "new hardware" sound 3 times quickly, followed by the bubble in the bottom saying "New Hardware Detected: Ethernet Adaptor". It then asks me to install the drivers, so I put the disc in. I do both automatic, and manual, but it will not find the drivers! After that, it gives me the error that the new hardware wasn't installed correctly, and may not work properly. When I do insert the card, the lights blink, but go away. I am thinking is a card issue... what do you guys think?

You could manually move the driver file over and point the add hardware wizard to that. OR, just pop in the software and run the setup utility. Easy as that.

I did both of those options. And the brand of the PCI card is not on the box. I found it at a local PC shop. I am thinking I will just return it, and go buy a Linksys one, to match my router.
