I am overwhelmed by the different choices for wireless routers and am looking for some advice. I have a new Acer AS1410 netbook and was wondering how I determine if it has wireless "b" or "g" (or if it has something else) and what would be a good router choice. We currently are using my mother in law's netgear router, which we have to return. We have internet via a cable modem (RoadRunner) and may end up with Verizon's fios when we move in a month. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
