    Wireless Speakers for Mac

    Hey is there any way to have wireless speakers like one of those Ipod Fm transmitter thing and plug it in the macbook headphone lug and tune in the station would that work? cause i dont want to have wires on my macbook. Thanks

    yes, you'll want to look at the apple's airport express. Just plug in your computer speakers to that.

    nothing cheaper (and halfway decent) that I know of. I've seen bluetooth speakers, but those won't be any better than the laptop speakers (they were designed for bt-enabled phones). Wireless home theater speakers are beginning to come out, but those still need a transmitter (you'll still have a wire from the computer to a big box).

    If you have a ipod fm transmitter that plugs into the headphone jack only, you can use that with a stereo system, but that would still leave you with wires hanging out, would it not?

    The airport express is expensive, but it will satisfy most self-proclaimed audiophiles.
