    Wireless home phones disconnecting wifi

    Hey guys, I have an intel 4965 abgn wifi and it disconnects whenever someone in my apartment picks up the wireless phone (Not cell). ANything I can do or try?

    Try changing the channel. Use an extended channel (above 11) if supported.

    If you can change the phone's channel, do that, too. Try to set the telephone and the wireless as far apart on the wireless spectrum as you can to cut down on interference.

    Also keep in mind that wireless controllers from game consoles can also cause interference.

    I switched to 11. Someone recommended I try channel 1 and 11 and so I put it on 11. THats the highest I can go.
