Well, I have successfully resurrected from the dead my half beloved msi ex 625. Now Im wondering what to do with it.

Here is what I jumbled together:

Mobo layout (in terms of where it gets connected to the chassis) is the same for the ge600 and the msi ex625 (the heatsink is different and the layout of the components like cpu and gpu is different), that grants me entrance to the icore series of cpus, dunno if its worth it. Although Im not confident that the cooling can handle a core 2 duo cpu that doesnt belong to the p series

GPU: I know that you can put a 5730m at least in there, Im wondering if I can find something else.

Things that need to get changed:

Keyboard: unfortunately I think that is one part that is still going to be terrible.

Chassis: it couldnt stand the wear of 3 years of mobile use, and yes I babysit my things

this machine is basically stock aside the "new" 4670m that I could get for free.

I recon that this should be expensive, and if it indeed turns out to be that way I will abort this, I dont see a need nor a possibility to make this into a machine that is going to fill my needs aside basic gaming

PS: the slot is a mxm 2.1 module, the thermal budget should be around 30w
