I currenty run 2GB but as games and applications become more demanding is it worth adding another stick of RAM? I've heard though that more then 2GB RAM is pointless as you don't notice any real difference??

don't both now, maybe in a couple of years... not much can use even 2 gb ram...

Heh looks like someone is in need of a new notebook..I'd tell Acer to stick that one where the sun doesn't shine.
Wasn't really considering doing at this moment in time but maybe sometime within the next year. -

Unless you are in fact running out of RAM I wouldn't bother. If your hard drive activity light is on frequently or constantly while you game then that's a good indication that you are our of physical RAM.

Open up and run all your favourite applications then look in the processes page of Task Manager to see how much RAM is being used. I believe that the Commit Charge at the bottom of the page is a fair indicator of the memory in the use. If you are near 2000M then more physical RAM should help.
