    Yes, that HDD will work.

    Though if you're buying a new hard drive, I would recommend the Seagate Momentus or the WD Scorpio 160GB 5400RPM drives over the Toshiba, and they're relatively the same price.

    the one that cam with the laptop. i think its hitachi 5200 speed 80 gig

    The hard disk that odin243 is a good recommendation. If you want a faster hard disk you may also want to consider 100/120 GB 7200 RPM drive by either Seagate or Hitachi. Both are very fast hard disks.
