It is so easy to play with those numbers. Most temperature monitoring software has temperature offsets, and if it doesnt you can get the open source version which you can mod to make your own.
Guys please remember that a cpu will never run cooler than the temperature of the room, so as you can see both of them do not have heat in their homes, or they use their laptops in super cooled rooms.

Comeon, those are not normal temps, I cant even get those temps with my ebm PAPST fans.

To bad you are all wrong because im blowing it with an air conditioner at my desk. I had a whole in it cutout where i use the metal part of a grill that the food rests on and have it funneling through there surrounding the laptop allowing me to do some serious OCing :p

:eek:60-70C is very hot for a hard drive! You need to invest in a better cooling setup.. Out of curiousity :))) How many fans do you have on your desktop & what kind of hdd's are they?

two fans in desktop, one seagate, one hitachi.....

dont really care about the heat.... its been used for over two years, waiting for it to die out(dont worry, i have backups) so that i can justify buying a 500GB hard drive to replace the two 160GB :p
