Update : Problem resolved, Thanks all for your helps. :)

Hi everybody, It's been a long that I haven't visited this sections of NBR so first nice to see you again friends! :)
My C: Drive is calculating the wrong free space even though I did some clean ups, After deleting Hibernation files I got that, I used windows clean up and CCleaner, That's gives some spaces, I want the Hiberation it's okey for me it takes 2 Gbs. But what are the other things. What is the Solution, My windows is Vista Home Premium, ASUS G1S 320Gb WD 3GB Ram, SP1 (Do you recommend SP2 or when it becomes in Auto update?). Here is a screen shot friends!

Also a small other question, What is the largest 2.5" Drive available, External is better although I will use it as internal , I can use the cover for my internal Drive. Thank you.

There are other things that are hidden that you probably couldn't highlight in C:\. E.g. shadowcopies of files.

I'll properly got it now! Thank you. What about the last question. What is the largest 2.5" HD, Is it still 500Gb only!?

500GB is still the largest and 7200 RPM the fastest.

Go to system tools > Disk Cleanup

Go to the More options tab and flush out system restore and shadow copies, usually frees 10-20gb for me.

Yes update to SP2 if its offered in windows update.

500gb 7200rpm is the largest and fastest mechanical drive in the market at the moment. 750gb-1tb isnt that far away.

You have a 320gb drive, but only 31gb is accounted for in the screenshot? Is this just a single partition or do you have another?

LOL, C is only for windows, D Partition is for everything else like photos and stuff. I really don't need anymore space for my C and I like to keep system restore in case of anythings, Thanks friends, I'll wait for 750 or 1TB, upgrade to 500 is worthless in my case. C is used for programms not single download, video or photo all are in D that's my way of saving files. thank you all for your help

I can't help with the first part of your post, but for the hard drive, currently 500GGB is the max for laptop drives. One of the best drives out ther is the western digital WD5000BEVT. Newegg has it on sale for $89.99 with free shipping. Look in the combo deals to get a free enclosure.

I think you should run a disk checking.

The largest currently produced 2.5" hdd is 500GB. The largest currently possible configuration is 1000GB/1TB for 12.5mm 2.5" hdd and 750GB for regular 9.5mm 2.5" hdd. 750GB and 1TB 2.5" hdd are not yet produced but can be rolled out from manufacturer easily if you wanted right now.

This is the best way for me to go. I'll be patient to get the best price. I have a 160GB (My old Drive) As an back up drive but can use it for other stuff if needed. I have 86Gb Space free and that won't fill up easy. Thank you all every problem is solved :) I know 500Gb but it's just not worth the upgrade really for the guys who said that. Thank you all. Have a nice times.

Update that might help somebody else, After downloading and installing SP2 for Vista and Still using the Hibration and System Restore I got 7Gb Free Space on my C now, That's much better than less than 2 Gb.

I don't know what' happen, I don't need that space for my C: Partition because it have all my programs installed and that's it. Photos and Videos and others are on my D: Which have ~85Gb Free space which needs few months for me to be filled, I'll properly wait for a higher and better HD.

If this what SP2 did for my laptop then it's great, Even the ram usage has get lower to 51%. Hope this might help others. Thank you :)
