I have an Audigy 2 ZS laying around the house (somewhere around here...probably down between the couch cushions) and I'm about to buy a new laptop. Is the X-FI worth the money or should I stick w/ the ZS? I'll be doing a fair amount of gaming in this new system...

Are you using Vista or XP? XP stick with the Audigy.

chances are your on board soundcard will have better sound quality than either X-Fi or Audigy ZS. my lg T1 has better sounds than audigy zs plugged into my m7700.

The Audigy ZS>> X-FI. But the ZS is PCMCIA and X-FI is Expresscard, so they don't fit in the same slot.
