    Hi everyone,

I have a Thinkpad X201. I have updated all of the audio drivers, but still the sound of my X201 is ridiculously low. Even my cellphone's speakers have a higher sound. I would like to replace my speakers but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Do you guys have any idea of where I could purchase it?

    Thanks !

Unless the speakers are defective, you do know that replacing them will not get you a 'louder' notebook, right?

Yes I know. I just don't believe this computer can have such a low audio output.

    Believe! :)

Unless you have heard an exact model with louder sound, then what it is is what it is.

Could also be the drivers. The Sigmatel Audio drivers for XP on my Vostro 1500 were horrid, much improved with Windows 7.
