I did some reading and searching but have found very little to help answer my questions. Is it possible to upgrade my CPU? Would I need new memory? What cpu can I use?

Someone on here suggested that the video card was upgradable? Is that true as well?

    Thank you

I'm pretty sure you can upgrade your CPU. Not so sure about the GPU; I can't seem to find any service manuals on Toshiba's site...

You cannot upgrade the gpu on your notebook, very few notebooks are upgradable in that regard. Please refer to the sticky at the top of this forum for more information on that.

You can upgrade the CPU, there is probably a walk through for that on toshiba's website in the form of a service manual. I can't say how easy or hard that will be, it depends on how Toshiba decided you should be able to access things besides the HDDs and the RAM. Upgrading the CPU will void the warrenty as I'm sure your aware.

Toshibas are not famed for having easy access to the cpu like a removable panel above it, you might well have to dismantle the entire laptop to get to it.
