    X60 Tablet external DVD (no AC power) Burner question

    Anyone out there find an external CD or DVD burner that will work with the X60T and doesn't require an AC adapter?

    I see some on ebay but am not sure that they will work with this laptop.

    Do you have a link? You can use this case and stick in any drive you want. I personally used it with my T42 and had a NEC drive in it:

    Thanks for the info. How does this one get power? I see two cables a usb and one that looks like ps/2 to usb.

    Wow, I didn't know the usb port has enough juice to power an optical drive. So all you need to carry is the drive and a usb cable? Nice.
