I am so lost when it comes to TV tuners. I would like to be able to play my Xbox360 on my laptop, as well as watch cable TV. What do I need to do this?

I have a Compal JFL92 from Powernotebooks.com (love the laptop, and the company) without a TV tuner installed internally.

Options? What should I be looking at? I'm pretty lost!
