The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

How can you be sure that it is secure, Whoever is hosting it probably has some way of accessing it. They advertise that you can store "valuable photos, Music, and IMPORTANT documents". What happens when someone hacks into the system and gains access to 100's if not thousands of peoples personal material. To sum it up, I can't beleive that anything is safe online. There will always be somebody who is going to get bored or wishes to seek revenged who will find a way to gain access to files that where once deemed secure.

If anyone would like to correct me or change my mind feel free to do so. I am open to all opinions. Who know, perhaps they have finally made at least part of the internet completely secure, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

everything comes down to trust. even online banking, you're still trusting there isn't evilness inside their system.

if you don't trust them, it means you don't use them. pretty simple really. :)

Thats basically the only thing one can do. I tend to not do anything online that could release important data if it can be helped.
