    Xotic Barebone systems?

    What exactly are they?They seem really cheap.

    that's cuz they're missing most of the parts (HDD, CPU, WiFi, BT, RAM, etc).

    They are systems that start with a case and a graphics card. You can either add components on their site (which they will install for a minimal price) or you can build it yourself (which while slightly more difficult than building a desktop, is still pretty easy).

    nightmear, we have excellent resources here at nbr. Xotic PC is a very well renowned reseller of laptops. Justin Nolte from xotic pc is a regular on nbr, so if you need to ask them a particular question, he knows it all. His nbr username is "justin@xoticpc"
    Just send him a PM and I am sure he will get back to you.

    Usually when you get a barebone you have the option to get the cpu, gpu, memory, wireless, optical drive, harddrive, and operating system. You can choose to buy any of these pieces or add them in later.
    You just need to install parts which are compatible.
