Hi everyone,
I don't know much about laptops, but i saw this laptop for say at $1500. Comes with 2 gigs of "kingston ram" and 2.1 gig processor.
I asked the seller he says this laptop supports the latest "GeForce Go 7800 GTX". I done some research and figured this laptop is about a year old. So can it really take a 7800?
If anyone can tell me more about this laptop that would be great.

The ASUS Z70VA is sold with the ATI X700 and I don't think it will even take a Geforce. Even if it could, the 7800 GTX would generate way too much heat, the z70va 15.4" case would not be able to handle it.
I think that you might be referring to the Z81sp model which comes with a 6800 MXM III in it and in the future, you might be able to upgrade it to a 7800 GTX.
The Z81sp would be the only notebook that might be able to take a 7800 GTX without too much trouble since the case is well designed to handle the 6800 in a 15.4" case. The only other 15.4" model that has a 6800 in it is a Sager model which has been discontinued.
I don't think that there are any 15.4" notebooks that have a 7800 GTX in it. -
I knew it can't handle a 7800...
Real thanks, he is an Ebay seller................... -
DF5782 marked the spot.
Nowadays, there are only a handful of laptops which can use the 7800GTX... -
Ok, so we are saying that the Z70VA can't take a 7800GTX right? -
off the top of my head, the only notebooks that can use the 7800 are dell's 17" xps, sager 17", and i think a couple boutique rigs.
if the notebook comes with an ati card, there's no way you can upgrade to an nvidia card.
"Z70VA", Does anyone know if a "GeForce Go 7800 GTX" will work on this thing???
