Introduction:
So I have been constantly looking at an upgrade to a new pair of open-headphones and was debating whether or not to invest in a headset or just buy a pair of high quality headphones suggested by members of head-fi.com but I knew I'd need a mic somehow... After reading a bunch of suggestions, I looked at a nearby computer store and they carried one of the suggested items. It is the "Zalman ZM-MIC 1 High Sensitivity Headphone Mic" (Part Number: ZM-MIC1).

Ease-of-Use
Currently both of my headphones' cables are way too thin to fit it in. I've been messing around trying to find an optimal position for it and it hasn't been easy so far. With more expensive headphones (such as the HD595 that I'm ordering) this mic attachment may work well. but with my $90 noise cancellation headphones, this mic has been nothing but trouble. Stay tuned for updates! So I found a work-around to having thin headphone cables; I just need to tie the headphone cable around the mic attachment to hold it there.
Performance:
On Skype, my girlfriend said she could hear me 9/10. Now, a rating system like that is quite subjective, so I will be posting voice clips so you guys can decide!
