i hear intel make the best wireless cards.
they have a new one they're putting with the duo core's, and i want one.
trouble is i think i'm going to get the MSI 1039 (a turion based whitebook/barebone)
can i get it without a wireless card, and seperately get the intel?
if so, where can i get one?
    thanks for the help guys

Yeah, you should be able to put a wirless card in that laptop. Should not pose any problems. Infact many MSI barebones ship without any Wireless cards. Regarding Intel Wifi's IMO they are not the best. Atheros makes the best cards, the Intel 2200 had some issues and the 3945 is slightly better. they are at most the second best.

The 3945 is not Mini-pci, so you probably won't be able to fit it in the 1039.

You're best off going with an Atheros card in that laptop. The 2200bg gets pretty hot. Ditto for the 2915abg. (at least in laptops that I've used those two in before)
