i bought a D900K and im not sure if this is possible.. i want to put a 250 GB sata drive in it, but i read from a few websites that the max it can handle is a 120 gb sata drive.. could this be because when the article was made the highest sata drive out was a 120 gb?? can there really be a limit on the hd size??

You can have limits on drive size, however I doubt it has a limit of 120, do they make 250gb Notebook Sata drives now?

The only limit to harddrive size comes from the software. (Windows XP before SP1 or 2 (can't remember which one) couldn't handle drives bigger than 137GB)

As far as the hardware goes, there are no restrictions though.

just make sure the hard drive your looking at is 2.5" and not 3.5" like desktop hard drives.

actually, the motherboard can limit the size of hard-drives (at least on desktops) but usually, it's 400gb or more. just thought a little clarification would be nice

It's better to call Clevo and make sure before buying the hard-drive.
