Hello!
I recently posted some posts about having problems with laptop charging. I already fried up two ac laptop adapters. I guess they are fried up. At first I thought it was adapters fault, but I guess it is not.
Today I plugged out my ac adapter. I noticed that power jack ( I guess I call it right, its just that thing what you plug in your laptop to charge it). The plastic of it was kind of melted and I burnt my fingers really bad. Is that normal that it gets that hot? I guess it could be the solution why I have broken already two adapters. Is there somethin with my laptops motherboard?

It's really not normal.

What laptop is this? give us more details. I assume the adapters are OEM ones for your laptop and not third party?

That is messed up, and its not the power adaptor's fault.
You have burned out a mosfet on the motherboard, which regulates the power bubble which runs into your system. WIthout this mosfet, you are putting more strain on the other four electrical mosfets, forcing the other mosfets to run hotter. The problem is that the other mosfets will soon burn out, which could cause a surge of power to your motherboard, which could fry everything.
If the system is new, try to return it or get it replaced by the manufacturer. This simple electrical failure could and will cause your laptop to catch on fire, so please avoid using it.
If the system is old, you have the option of getting a replacement motherboard, or just buy a new laptop.

this is ACME laptop, it`s some kind of cheaper version of Asus laptops.
I have Asus system, laptop is quite new..
now I have some media tech universal ac laptop charger..and im kind of suprised, no more melting and its quite cool..
but if you say its really serious i guess it wont be like that for long..
I have 2 year warranty, so I guess I just need to bring my laptop over and see whats wrong with it.. -
ACME, the same brand Wiley Coyote uses to catch roadrunner in looney tunes. Fails everytime lol
Get it fixed asap and dont try plugging anything to it. Might explode it your face
ac adapter, melting plastic on power jack..
