    acer cpu upgrade help!!!

    well i have an acer extensa 4620Z

    its 2 gig ram
    Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor T2310/T2330 (1 MB L2 cache, 1.46/1.60 GHz, 533 MHz FSB), supporting Intel 64 architecture


    and a friend gave me aa cpu that is a T2250 runs at 1.76 ghz and 2 mb cache
    :confused:
    im just wanting too know if this will work befor i open it up and start putting in parts that will not work or if there is something i can get for this laptop that will be faster then whut i have for the cpu :)

    4620Z is a Socket P machine with a 965 or 960 chipset. The T2250 is a Socket M processor. You cannot use the T2250 in your Acer.

    Reinstall windows would help. Get a new hard drive ( what hard drive do you have? ) Add ram ( how much do you have ) and if your gaming what graphics card do you have ( you cant upgrade it most likely )
