    hey do any of you guys know if my laptop will support a 500gb hd?
    also i want to upgrade ram...is it possible to switch yo 64bit os if i do?

    yes, your 4720z can be upgraded to a 64 bit operating system, and a 500gb 5400rpm harddrive.

    But yes, a 500GB hard drive is supported by all laptops, granted that the type of drive corresponds, SATA, PATA, etc.

    And yes, you can switch to a 64Bit OS, however, it depends on how many GB of RAM is supported. If only 2GB is supported then it is worthless.
