    add webcam to e6410

    There seems to be a lens already in place:

    ..but no device.

    How would it be done? Where would I obtain the parts?

    As it looks like that "webcam" is mounted offcenter to the left, I believe that is actually an ambient light sensor rather than a webcam. For example, see this picture of the M4500. In short, it would seem your E6510 does not have a webcam.

    Ahh, I didn't realize that was the ambient sensor. So I guess this might be as easy as replacing the lid.

    You may only need a new bezel, not a new lid. Pull of the bezel and see if there's room to mount a camera, and if the video cable is there.
