Are you sure you are CPU bottlenecked? If you open up Task Manager, do you hit at least 60-70% all the time? Looks like the Toshiba is PM45 or GM45, which pretty much any 1066 FSB Core 2 Duo will work, unsure if it supports/whitelists Core 2 Quads.

First we need to know what processor you are using right now.
Also is it intel chipset you have? What chipset exactly?

If you don't know these specs, a program called Everest will help you identify them.
Once we know these specs will be available to help you most.

Well in my opinion your processor is good enough.
But if you don't mind to spend some money i would say go for a
    T8300(2,4GHz) or T9300(2,5GHz).
Here is a comparison of these three processors

    Compare Intel® Products

But as i said before you won't notice much of improvement by upgrading your
    T6600. Even if you multitasking.

There are better processors than these three i told you but are difficult to find or very expensive.

This thread will help you decide as it helped me

To be honest, barely any. Any performance gains you get from a CPU upgrade will be minimal at best. I'd use the cash on more RAM and an SSD tbh.
