i used the disassemble guide that was posted on this site. i took my laptop apart to the point where i had taken out both hard drives, ram, cd drive, keyboard, and the plate covering the motherboard. i cleaned out the magnitudes of dust that had assembled on my fan, and much to my enjoyment i can now actually play things without any throttling issues. sadly though, my keyboard never returned to full function. if i press numpad, nothing happens. if i press shift, it acts as if shift was never pressed. using ctrl to copy or paste does not work. i had to use teamviewer to log into wow with my friend typing the at symbol. obviously i could deal with this, but it's still extremely annoying. if anyone knows what might be the problem, or what to check for, please answer. the ribbon cable is in as far as i could push it, and as you can see, the keyboard works completely fine except for these issues. thanks in advance, and if you want pictures i can get some.
parentheses; another weird thing to add, my razer naga works as if the numpad was enabled even though the light isnt on on the keyboard. close parentheses
