Does it support SATA 3? Is it good?

    Thanks :)

    It's junk.

I'm on my 2nd replacement one, they don't 100% fit the hdd drive so it loosens and the drive ends up breaking the connector between the caddy and the drive over time when the laptop is moved around (e.g travel in a backpack).

Sorry for bumping this thread up but did you order from the 2nd link? My 3th Akasa caddy (in a few months) died on me so I'm looking for a better replacement.
If so, would you recommend the ones under the 2nd link? I think I'm going to buy it anyways because I can't have a caddy fail on me every few months and potentially cause data loss (e.g. failure in the middle of writing data to disk) so a 4th Akasa is out of the question obviously.

Newmodeus caddy are among those i see recommended often on NBR despite the higher price tag. Dell also has caddies for their Precision line so you could always order one of those.
