alrite, im configuring my MSI MS-1039 notebook, and was wondering what the real difference is between the ML-37, which is 2.0 ghz 1mb l2 cache... compared to the ML-40, which is 2.2 ghz 1mb l2 cache? besides the $50 difference

    thanks alot

i feel like for the average user, the difference will be negligible. i would consider xmeld.com b/c they have better customer support. i would also suggest getting the mt turions if possible. they consume less wattage while giving the same output...basically, you will get more battery life.

There wont be much difference between the 2. The ML40 obviously is going to perform a little bit faster. Is it worth the $50 upgrade? Well, it is kinda hard to justify it as different people might have different views on it. I would recommend that you configure the laptop to your liking with the ML 37 and see if you can spend the additional $50. If yes, then get the ML40. Otherwise the ML37 can do all of what the ML40 can.

As ejl mentioned, get the MT Turions, they have the same performance as the ML series but consume less power.
