flash cache ? how much faster will the comp bboot and perform all around . there is the 200 gb 7200 rpm for $116 or the 160 gb 5400 for $82 . would they make a difference

I read something about this drive utterly failing to perform well over at Dailytech...lemme see if I can find it.

Hybrid harddrives make absolutely no advantage. The 256mb of cache does nothing for performance. The 160gb with 8 mb of cache runs the same speed as the 160gb with 256mb of cache.
Do not waste your money on a hybrid harddrive. Put the money towards a 250gb 5400, 320gb 5400 or Hitachi 7k200
