    Hi!
    I'm trying to upgrade my A6Jc from Yonah T2300 to Merom T7200. I'm looking for anybody with A6Jc and the Merom. :eek:
    I'd like to know what is working configuration, like bios and memory..

    More than likely you can do it, you may need a BIOS update, but unless you've got a specific need, I doubt it's worth the time or expense.

    I totally agree. I doubt the difference would make that much of a difference.

    Thank you guys for opinions.. but I've already bought it.. and now I'm trying to find out why it is not working...

    When I turn my laptop on, I can heard hdd, dvd initiating but no video and the hdd light is on for about 20 seconds..

    Maybe someones seen similar symptoms...

    You probably know that upgrading the cpu voids your warranty. But as suggested, you can try to Update your bios.
