    i heard it has the western digital 320 gb 5400 rom drive in it?? is this true? can anyone confirm this. i found a local deal on a pair of open box ones but the sale is final i plugged them and they seem to work fine. i need a pair of 320gb drives for a raid 0 in a notebook so these would be perfect if they werw the wd 320's.. more info please?? thanks

    sorry also can anyone confirm what model wd drive it is in the 320gb?? need info asap please as they may be gone tomm, they are holding them for me till the end of the night

    no info from anyone huh?? i can go get them as soon as they open in the morning but i have to figure out whats inside of them somehow tonight before then..

    If they have not swapped the original hard drives, the would be the WD3200BEVT. I have bought three units from different shop and all of them are WD (package slightly different).
    Connect the drive to the usb port and you would be able to verify it from the device manager if it is a WD.

    I just purchased and opened my Simpletech 320GB 2.5" external hard drive. Under device manager it says that its a Western Digital.
