    i saw it in the best deals thread and i am highly considering it especially for its price.. i see VERY LITTLE info on the net about buffalo though.. any info would be great...

    or what else is super hot right now.. this is for the wife's laptop running vista with c2d cpu.. ill prob get her 2gb but i may splurge for 4gb if i can get it cheap enough.. thanks again

    I like Buffalo as a company. I buy Terastations from them (Network attached storage 2 Terabyte monsters). So I know their HD and Storage options are solid.

    Ram varies little between brands. If the price is good I'd consider getting it. Buffalo is a reputable company, for sure. I've never used their ram though.

    Nothing wrong with Buffalo. If I remember correctly there are some reviews of Buffalo RAM on Newegg.com, you might want to check those out.
