I have a new ipod touch and itunes doesn't like it, I have a dell e1705. Im prettty sure its due to the powersaving of the usb slot as it works on my bros desktop computer. Is there anyway to disable powersaving features of the usb slots?

Not very familiar with ipod touch, but if you want disable the power saving features of the usb ports then the closest thing I could recommend is to go to device manager and bring up the properties of the USB Root Hub. There is a Power Management tab. There should be an option there to stop windows from powering down the device.
