Are any of xoticpc's upsells worth paying for? I don't really want to mess around inside a laptop myself (except for putting a drive in that is what I have my desktop for). So I am just wondering if their thermal compound upgrades and display calibrations actually make any difference in a gaming laptop.
    Thanks

Only thing worth paying for is the 30 day dead pixel guarantee. Or Rush processing. NOTHING else.

It is worth the upgrade price if you are willing to pay it instead of doing it cheaper yourself. Is it worth $42 for them to apply the better TIM compared to you doing it? same with other upgrades is the premium in price worth your labor?

If I know they know what they're doing whats another $50 on a $1000-$4000, especially if it's a smaller company and not some ****ty mega corp. Then I don't have to worry about disassembly as soon as I get it. In that sense I would consider having it done done for me. I have the skills but, it can be a chore if i'm not in the mood.
