    hello,

i need your help with my asus. i was changing the dvd-rom by myself on my asus, and i think i broke some cable or smth, because now the touchpad is absolutely dead, windows does not see it, also the status indicators (below touchpad) don't work too. [cd control buttons work, but the led indicator is dead]

am i right thinking that i need only that green cable, which connects touchpad and the body? i think the contacts may be broken, because when i lifted the upper side of body, that green cable falled (i didn't losen it before lifting the upper body side).
so what truly do i need to fix my asus?

    thanks for replies!
