    i could only get the laptop to start using the recovery cd.when it was last running i did a windows disc check,since then all i get is "cannot set temp path to work in"and ERROR in big red letters.i ran hd salvation from a boot disc and it showed bad sectors 1 to 15% and 70 to 85% i also ran gparted but i dont know how to use it.could anyone please help? thanx very much and a happy new year to you all.thanx lloydx.
