I'd like a way to completely image my XPS 13 with Vista X64 - software, files, settings, the whole deal. I know Seagate makes some good backup solutions but was wondering if there is anything better. I'd like a 500gb external hard drive and I don't know if I should get one with backup software built-in or if it is better/more economical to get a cheaper hard drive and buy/download 3rd party imaging/backup software. Any help is appreciated.

My version of Vista doesn't have the "full" backup utility. I was going to pickup the Seagate Replica... Advice?

if this is not a thread hijack, could i also ask, which one of the 2 would you like

a 7200 RPM 32MB seagate or the WD 1TB 7200 32MB cache...if one were to make it with a standard enclosure (having esata and USB 2.0....need to backup the DV5T and the AOD150)
