I recently bought an acer 3820TG but the TN panel is mediocre at best and I want to install a different LCD later on. I know different panels don't always work due to firmware/bios differences but what are some good 1366x768 13.3" 16:9 panels?

I saw that the Samsung 9 series 13.3" laptop has a nice 400nit LCD so maybe that could be sourced somewhere..

The best is the X220's IPS panel, but I doubt you'll be able to install it onto your Acer.

actually most manufacturers use proprietary connectors, thats why when you buy a new panel you see in the page if its compatible to your model.

and sorry forgot that its 13.1
