    hiya all,

    im going to be getting a laptop in mid july and im just wondering if there is any specific ram i should buy.

    i want 2x1gb ddr2 667.

    looking at corsair valueselect right now. somewhere between 80-90 dollars would be ideal.

    Corsair is a reputable brand, like OCZ,Crucial,etc , so it should be okay.

    plus ram is really cheap now. i got a single stick for $25, kingston during memorial weekend

    w/o sales, you can probably find them for $35

    Since you generally dont overclock ram in a notebook there really is no reason to buy expensive stuff. Just beware super cheap stuff if your computer is known to have issues with it.
