im looking to buy a new monitor for my xps m1330 which comes with the 128mb video card, however i dont know which one to choose and i couldnt really find any reviews that talked about good monitors for the m1330. any advise or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

as of right now i think i will either get the samsung 2493hm or the dell 2408.

the samsung will cost 475 without tax and shipping from buy.com

    http://www.buy.com/prod/samsung-249...1-dc-5ms-1920-x-1200/q/loc/101/206805419.html

and the dell will cost 600 not including tax from texas

anyways thanks for the help in advanced and im also looking for a monitor to hook my ps3 up too

what im confused about is that the samsung only has D-Sub, DVI, HDMI as connectors and the m1330 only has vga and hdmi but according to almost all reviews, the hdmi from the m1330 doesnt work well

All you need is a DVI to VGA adaptor, and you will be able to hook up the screen without any problem.
Just make sure you get a male VGA to female DVI adaptor.
The male VGA plugs into the female VGA on the laptop, and the open female DVI on the other end of the adaptor, is where the male DVI from the screen connects.

Please dont make any kind of inuendo's on this, you really need to get the right adaptor, and its hard to write it without sounding weird.
