    i've been searching forums online but i have not even been able to get bf2 to install with vista. it will go about a quarter of the way then just stop and says i need to try again. can anyone help me out here :(. thanks

    :s I'm running vista Ultimate on my PC here and BF2 installs perfect no problems at all. So i have no idea what the prob could be

    Right click on the setup go to properties. go to compatibilit tab. And try running under compatible for xp service pack 2.

    a 1520 with core 2 duo 2.2 ghz 8600m gt, 2 gigs ram. I did what you suggested forerunner but i still ran into the installation problem. any other ideas? thanks for the help

    basically it just says battlefield 2 cannot install, try from the beggining. plain and simple

    hmmm, i bought it so long ago i don't think they will take it back lol. thats wierd though because i have been playing it on a computer at my house just fine for the time being. i guess i may have to buy a new one though. any other suggestions possibly?

    Well I was searching around for you. What I came up with was the cd thing. Another person said after they put it into their dvd drive it worked which doesn't make much sense but can't be tried on a laptop. What you also can do is download the game as a torrent which is not illegal since you own a copy of the game and are putting in your own key.

    Edit: scratch that no real active torrents for battle field. Sorry!!

    hey thanks for the help, i actually searched it and found someone who just cleaned the cd. i looked at my cd and it was dusty as hell lol. so i cleaned it and its working fine

    Lol all that work and all you had to do was clean the cd. Well I was partially right there was something wrong with the cd! :)
