I just opened my BIOS a few minutes ago because i was told that some games do not like dual core cpu's, and was told to disable hyperthreading technology in the BIOS. When I got there i had about the options to change the date and time......absolutely nothing else....what gives? And also it said off to the side that the Video memory was included in the total system memory...and that the system adjusted the amount of memory allocated to video based on the system usage or something..does this mean that half of my 1gig is dedicated to video?

well dual core cpus dont have hyper threading. Dual core as name says is 2 cores 1 cpu per core so you have 2 real cpus. Were say p4 has hyperthreading is 1 core that has 1 real cpu but windows emulates it as 2. That software can limit a program to 1 cpu. I use it for madden cause game runs wierd if i dont. You should be able to go thru tabs and find the option to adjust the video memory it will only use what it needs if its fully shared on your system.
