i got the 1650x1050 screen since it was either that or the 1920x1200. did i make the wrong choice? i know i cant go back and change it but i just want some piece of mind. also, 4gb ram was the only option. i guess that's only good if i go to 64-bit right? but it wont slow down the system will it? one last question...did i make the wrong choice by picking the 5400rpm 120gb hd? the 7200rpm was a $200 upgade, was it worth it? sorry for all these questions but i couldnt find the search button and im new.

you did great!!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy it and don't look back.......... you can always second guess yourself
and no, the 4gb ram will not slow it down in the least and if you ever go to vista 64bit you already have 4gb -
Post up all of your specs if you want a run down, but the 1530 is a nice piece of hardware and for the price you paid/performance you most likely ordered, I cannot see how you would be disappointed.

Nice configuration. Your gonna kill yourself if you keep lookin at new configurations and new notebooks. Enjoy your new 1530.
Personally I am a 1920 resolution kinda guy but its all personal preference for the most part except for some certain HD uses.
Enjoy the new lappy man -
That is perfect, I love the hi-res, but for everyone else that I have showed my laptop, they prefer lower, as it "makes things too small". Besides, on a 15.4", 1920 may a bit high. Your new laptop will be awesome.

Gratz on the laptop! As said, you have a heck of a nice machine, no need to second guess or continue to shop.
