    I have a gateway p-6860fx laptop and I'm wanted to upgrade it to the T9300
    where do you think I could buy it fairly cheap? ebay??

    You could get it off Ebay, just try and get an OEM chip if you can. ES chips are Engineering Samples, and are sometimes DOA, or have no temperature sensors.

    stay away from ES... get OEM... ebay would be a good place to get it... try the notebookreview.com marketplace... u might get it on amazon... it does sell some processors...
